In other news our hometown show of sorts was great fun and it was great to see some new as well as old faces. Thanks to everyone who grabbed a CD as well – more are currently being produced for our next shows.

The band is pleased to announce a free show at one of our favourite Birmingham venues – The Yardbird. It will be on Oct 7 and support will come from a very cool mix of acts. If that wasn’t enough, the band will be playing some new material and giving away free CDs. Full details on the live page or you could look at this pretty poster done by our very own Lucy Rowena Phillips.

Tired but happy is a good way of describing the mood of the band. We recently had two great shows and are heading to London tomorrow for a new music night. Stay tuned for details of our next Birmingham show.

The band is pleased to say that after playing five shows in one day 1) we’re not sick of each other and 2) we didn’t hate it so much that we wouldn’t do it again. We are actually playing two shows on Sunday, Sep 9 as part of Artsfest. The first will be at Birmingham Town Hall where we get to use a very old and expensive Steinway grand piano! Looking forward to that. Then on the night we will be headlining a stage for the good folks at BBC Introducing with some fine bands, including good friends The Musgraves.
